On Saturday April 26 Rebecca Knox was booked by women’s promotion SHIMMER for an event in Chicago Ill. However despite accepting the booking Rebecca failed to appear at the event. The past few weeks Rebecca has completely vanished from the wrestling radar and only this past Monday morning were ChickFight Management finally able to get a reply from Rebecca courtesy of a text message she sent to a friend that was passed on. The Text read that Rebecca apologized for missing the show and letting everyone down however wrestling is the last thing on her mind right now and doesn’t believe that it is the right career choice for her at this time.

Both ChickFight and Shimmer management wish Rebecca well with whatever path she chooses to follow from this point on.

Dann Read of ChickFight Management had this to say: “While it is a shame to lose Rebecca who was set to be a main event player in the women’s scene all around the world the truth is there is now an open spot that needs to be filled. Competition is fierce in ChickFight between the wrestlers, each one wanting to break through to the top tier of the card to rival that of someone such as Cheerleader Melissa. If you think competition was fierce before – the fact that a top spot has become available has really upped the stakes and I personally expect to see a couple of breakout performances this Sunday in Ipswich at ChickFight”.

On Sunday May 4th ChickFight welcomes back it’s first true British star Eden Black for a very important announcement. ChickFight Management have made it clear that they are aware of the announcement and what it contains but have told www.ChickFight.tv that it is not their place to say and will leave it to Eden Black herself however it is no secret that Eden Black’s career suffered a major setback at ChickFight 9.5 in Skegness last year in her match with Jetta. Over the course of her career Eden Black’s shoulder has taken a lot of abuse and at 9.5 the wear and tear of the business finally caught up with her shoulder after Jetta rammed it into the steel ringpost several times. Built on fury – Black ignored the pain and instead tried to keep her focus on “Coventry’s Loudest” however as time got on following her match (and loss) to Jetta the pain caught up with her. Black tried to ignore this even going as far to wrestle another two matches for an independent promotion however by this point the pain was too much and Eden canceled all subsequent bookings.

On Sunday May 4th at the Caribbean Centre in Ipswich Eden Black will make a public announcement with regards to the future of her wrestling career. ChickFight and Eden Black invites all fans of female wrestling down to the Caribbean Centre in Ipswich on Sunday May 4th to be a part of this.

Please Note: Eden Black has made it clear to all concerned that she will NOT be competing on Sunday May 4th at The Ipswich Caribbean Centre. Please join us and Eden Black for what will no doubt be a very special and emotional announcement.

Cheerleader Melissa. Eden Black. Skye. What do these 3 ChickFight wrestlers have in common? They have all fell victim to the wrath of “Coventry’s Loudest” mouth – Jetta! And not always in the ring! But with so many people after her is Jetta really in as much danger as one might suspect? Or is a premeditated plan all coming to fruition? Lee Burton Investigates……………..

There are some who wonder if Jetta can keep her nose out of other people’s business. With ChickFight scheduled to start it’s 2008 UK run on Sunday May 4th at The Caribbean Centre in Ipswich, the Coventry The reason is because at the most recent ChickFight show on British soil – ChickFight 9.5 at Skegness – Jetta made herself known to a number of different wrestlers. In the past at ChickFights 8 and 9, she had got under the skin of fans watching, but for some reason – the sea air, the bright sunshine or something else – she decided that this was going to be the show where she was the centre of attention… and screw anyone who tried to stop her. loudmouth may have to watch her back from the second she arrives at the building.

First off, she hardly made friends with the packed crowd in the Suncastle, but then decided to verbally berate her former tag-team partner Skye before their 2 out of 3 falls match. They had wrestled a relatively good-natured contest at CF8, with Jetta getting the win to advance to the semi-finals of the tournament – but that all turned frosty at CF9.5. Perhaps it was because while Jetta had been receiving a torrent of boos from the audience despite telling them to cheer for her, Skye commanded the cheers; perhaps it was because she had lost in the first round at CF9 to Blue Nikita and felt that she should have gone further – who knows – but Jetta wasn’t at CF9.5 to make friends. Instead, she was going to make sure everybody knew who she was before the night was out. This was followed up when she beat Skye by two straight falls, and that should have been her night over. But instead, the biggest mouth in Coventry decided to get involved in Eden Black’s match with the Croatian Panther Wesna, costing her the contest, and then gloating over the fact that she’d got one over on her long-time nemesis. Nonetheless, a match between the two was signed for that night – Jez would face Jetta one-on-one, so they could settle their differences before it threatened to swallow up ChickFight in one big gulp.

It didn’t happen.

What did happen was the two women brawled around the arena – Jez didn’t even wait for Jetta to get to the ring before coming out to get the match started – with Jetta getting the win by pinning Black with her feet on the ropes. In essence, the war between the pair wasn’t ended – on the contrary, it was like pouring petrol over an already-massive inferno.

But Jetta wasn’t done.

Earlier that night, Cheerleader Melissa had been told to keep herself in check and conduct herself in the way a wrestler should, or face a suspension from ChickFight. While the cyborg with pom-poms managed to restrain herself during her matches with Bubbles and Blue Nikita, she couldn’t escape Jetta’s desire to screw over anybody she could.

Back at the hotel where a number of the ChickFight wrestlers and crew were staying, Jetta squealed to CF Management about Melissa acting up, meaning the most violent cheerleader in the known universe was slapped with a suspension for her actions. Needless to say, Melissa wasn’t pleased with the decision, or who had told on her.

However, that suspension has been served. Melissa is expected to feature on the next ChickFight show, and so is Jetta. It should be noted that Britain’s ChickFight fans have seen a focussed Melissa, and that’s dangerous enough for her opponent, CF crew, or even the audience. Imagine when her anger levels have been turned up to 11 – ChickFight may need to bring in the army to calm her down.

If it was only Melissa that Jetta needed to hide from, she might have been able to get away with it. But when you factor in Eden Black – who still wants to rip Jetta’s head from her shoulders – and Skye – who’s looking to redeem herself from the 2 straight falls defeat as well as end her dubious CF losing streak – it could be a long night for Coventry’s Loudest.

She won’t let on that she’s worried about the next ChickFight show in the UK – but deep inside, Jetta must be concerned that she may have to take what’s coming to her. At ChickFight 9.5, she really made a name for herself – unfortunately she may have to realise that there’s a difference between famous and being infamous.

And we in Britain get to enjoy seeing her run for her life.

Please note the views contained within are those of Kelly Adams and Kelly Adams only. ChickFight neither condone nor agree with any statements made and all complaints must be addressed to Kelly Adams herself.

“The Enlightenment” By Kelly Adams

Firstly I’ll start off with a quick introduction for those who do not know me. My name is Kelly Adams, Britain’s best kept secret, winner of the “Manchester’s finest rear” competition an unprecedented 3 times, former Catholic schoolgirl, friend of Jason Donovan, model and actress, Britain’s most eligible single lady, the face of the Manchester party scene and professional wrestler.

From reading the previous paragraph it is clear to see that I truly am an extraordinary human being. The other day, whilst meditating, I suddenly had a magical idea. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if I could share my thoughts and opinions with those poor souls who can only see the world with their poor ordinary eyes? How marvellous would it be if I could offer some enlightenment to unfortunate people?

As soon as I had finished meditating I called the Chickfight office and informed them of my plans. Although sceptical at first, they eventually agreed to allow me to publish my vision on their website.

I was slightly unsure as to what my first piece of writing should address. I knew that I needed to make an impact, I needed to make people take notice and in order to do that I was doing to write about something deep. After much deliberation I finally decided on the perfect topic…

How horribly disgusting are fat people?!?!

Seriously, fat people are terrible. They offend my eyes! Okay, I realise that saying “fat people” is considered a cruel jibe, so for the sake of political correctness I shall refer to them as “plus sized”.

I genuinely cannot comprehend how plus sized people come to be? I mean the obvious answer is “they eat a lot” but in all honesty it baffles even me. How can someone eat that much? Surely there must be a point in a plus sized persons life, when they look in the mirror and say to themselves “Oh no! I have become a heffer!” And surely at that point they must endeavour to do something about it? Once you have accepted that you are the size of a small whale it must be impossible to be comfortable in your own body. If I were to become a plus sized person I would be in the gym every day, until I was acceptable again.

The worst is when plus sized people try to justify their vile size with the infamous excuse “It’s because I am big boned.” HA! Don’t make me laugh you over-sized brutes! They must think that we’re stupid! How can somebody be big boned? It’s impossible! I have never seen a fat skeleton…

Plus sized people never seem to have any concept of personal space either. I remember a few weeks ago I was on a bus (Yes, sometimes even I do find myself travelling with the great unwashed on public transport!) and a rather hefty looking man waddled on to the bus and then proceeded to sit next to me. Goodness gracious I was almost sick on the spot! I could feel some of the man’s excess flab squashed against my hips. It was possibly the most distressing 20 minutes of my life, further hindered by the fact that he seemed to be having severe breathing difficulties (probably due to the amount of weight he carried) and sounded like a distorted Darth Vader!

The thing that annoys me the most though is when the media try to embrace fat celebrities. In my humble (yet correct) opinion people like Missy Elliot, Rik Waller and Kelly Osbourne were the worst things to happen to our planet since Global Warning. These people endorse obesity and send false messages to children. Children look at people like Rik Waller and get the impression that fat people can make something of their lives. The children will think that all you need to get by in the world is talent and heart. This is wrong. Beauty is everything! Missy Elliot, Rik Waller and Kelly Osbourne are not good role models.

Kelly Adams, Jade and Paris Hilton are good role models. We give younger people a sense of reality, as opposed to creating a fantasy world that will be crushed as they get older. Beauty is the key to survival. You can be the nicest most talented person in the world, but if you’re butt ugly – No one cares!

The reason that Jade and I are as extraordinary as we are is because we are a new breed of human being. As a race we are evolving, and now some people can be both beautiful AND talented. People like us are the future. It is extremely apparent. No matter where we are, be it a nightclub, a beach, a gym or a wrestling ring, we stand out and excel every possible way.

Unfortunately people, that is all I have got time to write. I’m invited to a small gathering that Mick Hucknall is throwing for a few of his closest friends and companions. OK! Magazine are quite possibly going to be there, what with Mick being the lead singer of Simply Red and all. If OK! Magazine are going to be there, then I need to look ravishing so I’m going to go and top up my tan. No-one wants to look appear looking pasty in Britain’s leading magazine now, do they?

The fans were awaiting on the arival of Cheerleader Melissa who for reasons not yet known did not attend last nights event despite being scheduled for a singles match against the returning Canadian Candice LaRae. When it became apparent that Melissa would not be making her way to the ring for her match officials had no choice but to rule Candice LaRae winner via forfeit giving Candice her first win in ChickFight, however her celebration would be shortlived as TNA “KnockOut” ODB made a shocking appearance stating that she came to see a ChickFight match and a ChickFight match is what she would see – even if she was in it! An impromptu ChickFight match between ODB and Candice LeRae began which saw ODB getting the win in convincing fashion!

While the fans cheered in celebration for ODB one question was still in the back of the minds of everyone in attendance – where was Cheerleader Melissa?
