About Us

ChickFight: Female Pro Wrestling is the brainchild of Jason Deadrich and a product of Black Pants Productions. The first ChickFight event took place at the infamous APW Garage in 2004 as part of All Pro Wrestling’s Halloween Hell weekend and featured such stars as Cheerleader Melissa, Nikki Roxx (now known as Roxxie Laveaux in TNA) and Lucha superstar, Princess Sugey. That night, we all knew we were watching something special. Female westlers were given the opportunity to go out and WRESTLE. No Divas, No bra and panties matches, No apartment wrestling, No poorly trained models attempting to wrestle. This was female competition at it’s finest and it was a show we all took great pride in being part of.
Even though we had great pride in the first ChickFight show and enjoyed the show both as fans and as promoters, we felt we may be the minority. We were concerned that mainstream wrestling fans were not going to accept females wrestling and working like their male counterparts and ChickFight would be nothing more than a once a year show at best. That all changed in early 2005 when we released the first ChickFight matches on the wrestling video on demand site, ClickWrestle.com.
With ClickWrestle’s worldwide exposure, the ChickFight product was now available for fans around the world to download and enjoy. Nothing could have prepared us for the sudden popularity of the ChickFight matches and overwhelming positive feedback we received. Fans from around the world purchased matches around the clock and could not get enough. Suddenly, we had emails from Germany, England, Japan and throughout the US all asking for more information and when the next ChickFight would take place.
Throughout 2006 we continued running ChickFight events in the San Francisco Bay Area featuring some of the greatest female wrestling talent from around the world until we decided it was time to take ChickFight international. Our first venture outside of the US took place on January 14th in the United Kingdom. ChickFight took the UK by storm and had fans saying things such as, “it was the greatest night of wrestling I’ve ever had”. Thanks to great promoting and organizing by our London-based team, ChickFight continued to run throughout the UK in 2007 and is now a household name among wrestling fans in the UK.
Now in 2009 with ChickFight in it’s fifth year, our efforts are to continue to grow the ChickFight brand and bring exciting, female professional wrestling to fans world-wide. Thanks to our one hour TV show that airs nation-wide on MavTV and in the UK on X-Leauge TV, more fans are learning about ChickFight than ever before.
We thank the fans for their support and look forward to the future of ChickFight: Female Pro Wrestling. Join the Revolution!
