Meet Holly Hearse, the new host of ChickFight

Female Fight League is pleased to announce the newest addition to our ChickFight broadcasting team, Holly Hearse. Holly has been a fan of professional wrestling her entire life and is a perfect fit with the wild women of ChickFight. As a San Francisco-native, Holly brings her attitude and unique style to the ChickFight TV show, which is filmed in our downtown San Francisco studios and airs weekly in six countries on broadcast television.

The enchanting, Ms. Hearse shared with us some of her thoughts on female fighting and professional wrestling.

“My fascination with pro wrestling came at a young age. I remember sitting on the couch with my dad and younger brother hearing the threats made from one wrestler to another that would ultimately be settled in a match later in the night. The excitement and suspense was overwhelming! I was instantly a fan of this crazy sport. Cage matches, Ladder matches, the famous Loser-Leaves-Town matches… what’s not to love? Wrestlers of all shapes and sizes, the ones you rooted for and the ones you booed.

I remember my brother and I watching “The Godfather” come out to wrestle and my mother would walk over and cover my brother’s eyes because she didn’t want him seeing the way the women were being used during his entrance. The thin, long legged, scantily clad strippers would gyrate in the ring before the match would begin.

The matches I looked forward to that involved a woman was when I’d see Luna Vachon wrestle. I thought to myself…we can do that?!! Women are capable of being as tough as those other guys? Wow! I was so impressed that I would have dreams that I could kick ass. I’d be running up walls and delivering kicks to the heads of bad guys. Seeing women wrestle made me more confident as a woman.

So here I am. The host of ChickFight. Watching these ladies show the world just what a woman can do. How lucky am I?”
